How to Choose the Right Model
Start with headcount
Count the people who will use the dispenser every day, not the total on the payroll. A team of 15 in one pantry suits a Top Compact. A floor of 70 suits the higher-capacity Top Pro or an Extra tap. A headquarters canteen, hotel breakfast room or conference floor that serves 150 people at a time needs the Fill range, which uses ice-bank cooling to hold its output through long peaks.

Then pick the water types
Most offices want chilled still and sparkling. Semi-sparkling is a popular middle option on the four-type models. If staff also need hot water for tea and instant coffee, the Extra C-Tap gives instant hot water with anti-scald protection from the same tap, which can free up worktop space taken by a kettle or water boiler.

The undercounter models need real cabinet space. BRITA says the Extra C-Tap's filter, cooler, boiler and carbonator are designed to fit cabinet spaces of 600 x 800 x 600 mm without a boiler, or 800 x 800 x 600 mm with one. Sparkling models also need room for a CO2 cylinder.

Filtration and Hygiene
Every dispenser in the range has BRITA ThermalGate. It heats the dispensing point automatically, to protect against contamination from touch or airborne droplets. BRITA quotes 120°C for the Top Compact and Extra I-Tap, and over 125°C for the Top Pro.

The chilled water temperature on the Top Compact can be set at installation to one of four levels between 4°C and 10°C.
What Kuwait Offices Should Plan For
Most of Kuwait's drinking water is desalinated seawater, blended with brackish groundwater before it reaches the network to meet World Health Organization guidelines (Fanack Water). Many office towers then store it in rooftop or basement tanks before it reaches the pantry. A BRITA cartridge is designed to filter drinking water at the point of use.
